Piping Construction Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise piping layouts for safe and efficient fluid and gas transport
• Ensure compliance with industry codes and safety standards
• Conduct technical risk assessments and implement design solutions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on integrated designs
• Prepare detailed design documentation, specifications, calculations, and reports
• Use 3D modelling tools like PDMS or E3D to produce accurate models

Requirements

• Experience as a Piping Engineer in the energy or nuclear sector
• Experience working on-site in a construction environment
• CCNSG Safety Passport
• Experience at Engineer or Senior Engineer level
• Proficiency in Navisworks and Excel
• Proficiency in 3D piping design tools such as PDMS or E3D
• Strong understanding of piping codes, safety regulations, and industrial design standards
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and flow diagrams
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience
