Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, bend, assemble, and install copper and steel tubing
• Perform brazing tasks using a torch to apply solder to copper pipes
• Operate specialized equipment including copper saws, tube benders, and flaring tools
• Manage suction and discharge piping installation
• Pressurize units and perform leak checks to ensure integrity
• Assist with unit layout and setup in accordance with established standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-6 months of related experience or training in a similar role
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to work with fractions, decimals, and units of measure
