Pipeline Project Manager, R&D

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple priority innovation, renovation, and remediation projects from definition through launch and execution.
• Lead regional or global cross-functional teams including R&D, Marketing, Packaging, Operations, and Finance.
• Own the integrated project execution plan, including scope, business case, schedule, and launch timing.
• Develop and implement risk management plans, including contingency and acceleration strategies.
• Provide project updates and Go/No-go recommendations at governance forums.
• Utilize project metrics and lessons learned to improve business processes and build project management capability.
• Maintain accurate data for project and portfolio tracking to ensure visibility across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum of 8 years of business/work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
• At least 3 years of proven success in managing new product commercialization or renovation projects.
• Strong business and financial competence with an understanding of project evaluation methods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex issues to senior leaders.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and create alignment without direct line authority.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree, MBA, or other advanced degree.
• PMP certification or other industry-recognized project management certification.
• Experience working in the Consumer Goods industry.
• Experience in a GMP or regulated environment (Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or OTC).
• Experience with Process Excellence or Six Sigma methodologies.
