Pipelayer

Responsibilities

• Install sewer, stormwater, and water main pipelines
• Lay, align, and connect pipes to required specifications, including managing concrete and cementitious products
• Read and interpret plans and levels
• Work around deep excavations and trenching operations
• Assist with backfilling, compaction, and testing activities
• Collaborate with plant operators and civil crews
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
• Adhere strictly to site safety and compliance requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a Pipelayer in civil construction
• Proven experience with sewer, stormwater, and water main installations
• Construction White/Blue Card
• Confined Space certification
• Current driver’s licence
• Strong safety focus and commitment to safe work practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on marine or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Current dogman ticket
