Pipefitter

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and upgrades to refinery equipment
• Maintain and repair valves, PSVs, check valves, piping, exchangers, and steam tracing
• Ensure refinery equipment runs safely and efficiently through timely, quality repairs
• Utilize computer-based tools and mobile applications to access plant equipment information and job tasks
• Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and environmental awareness

Requirements

• 2 or more years of maintenance experience in refining, process, construction, energy, or industrial manufacturing
• Proficiency using computers and mobile phones
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform work in both shop and outdoor areas
• Ability to climb ladders, stairways, vessels, towers, and pipe racks
• Ability to work extended time in a Fresh Air Mask

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman High-Pressure Piping certification
• Welding experience
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, ISOs, and P&IDs
