Pipefitter

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain various piping systems according to project specifications
• Interpret and work from blueprints, specifications, and detailed drawings
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes to fit as required for installation
• Adhere to installation codes and safety standards
• Perform maintenance and repairs on existing piping systems
• Inspect piping systems for leaks or other issues and rectify them promptly
• Work collaboratively with other trades to integrate piping into larger systems
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while observing safety regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in pipefitting preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pipefitter or in a related field
• Strong understanding of piping systems and materials
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Ability to perform manual labor and meet physical demands
• Valid driver’s license and pertinent certifications in pipefitting
