Pipe/Earthwork Foreman

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of construction workers and subcontractors
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance and quality standards
• Work with the Superintendent to schedule work assignments and manage workflow
• Enforce safety regulations and act as the OSHA defined "competent person"
• Conduct daily safety meetings and site inspections
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and labor hours
• Submit daily timecards, diaries, and progress photos
• Inspect subcontractor work to ensure conformance with specifications

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry
• Experience in a supervisory role preferred
• Knowledge of storm, sanitary, and sewer pipe, shoring, and dewatering
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency in mathematical computations for rates, ratios, and percentages
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and wear required PPE

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in construction management
• Experience with GPS survey equipment, pipe grade levels, or auto levels
• Maintenance and protection of traffic experience and certifications
