Pipe Yard Associate

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment (PIT) to move, load, and unload pipe and materials
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy and quality
• Stock, organize, and maintain yard inventory to ensure efficient material flow
• Accurately pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free yard environment
• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies at all times

Requirements

• Ability to work overtime and extended hours as needed based on business demands
• Comfortable working outdoors and staying physically active throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements like bending, twisting, and reaching
• Regular and reliable attendance in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to following all safety policies and PPE requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior warehouse, yard, or distribution experience
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment such as forklifts
• Experience with or readiness to learn distribution technology like RF scanners
