Pipe Fitter

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, GA drawings, and construction specifications
• Measure, cut, bevel, align, fit-up, and assemble pipes, fittings, valves, flanges, and supports
• Prepare pipe spools for welding and ensure proper alignment and dimensional accuracy
• Install carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and other piping systems
• Perform fit-up activities for butt weld, socket weld, threaded, and flanged connections
• Install pipe supports, hangers, guides, and anchors as per approved drawings
• Coordinate with welders, riggers, and supervisors to complete piping activities efficiently
• Conduct visual inspections of fit-up and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Assist in hydrotesting, flushing, pneumatic testing, and commissioning activities
• Follow all HSE policies, permit-to-work requirements, and site safety procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Pipe Fitter in Oil & Gas industry
• ITI or relevant educational background
• Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, API, and project-specific piping standards
• Knowledge of piping materials, fittings, valves, and fabrication techniques
• Strong knowledge of piping installation practices
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
