About the role
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and fit piping systems, coded vessels, and perform various mechanical tasks
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in an industrial environment
- Read and interpret Piping and Instrument (P&I) drawings and isometric drawings
- Determine proper materials needed for specific tasks and procedures
- Operate forklifts and JCB lifts (training provided if required)
- Perform work to established quality standards
- Maintain availability for overtime, weekends, holidays, and emergency shutdown call-ins
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Minimum of 2 years of pipe fitting or fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating a forklift
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of and experience working in chemical process operations
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
