3000+ flight hours, 1000+ mountain hours, Bell 407, AS350, or EC120 type ratings, Longline proficiency, English and Spanish fluency
About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality flight instruction to military and civilian students
- Conduct ground and in-flight training sessions
- Create and execute customized lesson plans
- Monitor and assess student performance and provide feedback
- Perform pre- and post-flight aircraft inspections
- Maintain accurate student records and flight logs
- Conduct check rides and practical exams
- Coordinate with flight school staff for scheduling
Requirements
- 3000+ total flight hours with extensive operational background
- 1000+ hours minimum mountain experience
- Type ratings on Bell 407, AS350 – H125, or EC120
- Longline proficiency
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PDF, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work night shifts for NVG training
- Fluency in English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
- Instructional background in both classroom and aircraft settings
