Pilot Instructor

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality flight instruction to military and civilian students
• Conduct ground and in-flight training sessions
• Create and execute customized lesson plans
• Monitor and assess student performance and provide feedback
• Perform pre- and post-flight aircraft inspections
• Maintain accurate student records and flight logs
• Conduct check rides and practical exams
• Coordinate with flight school staff for scheduling

Requirements

• 3000+ total flight hours with extensive operational background
• 1000+ hours minimum mountain experience
• Type ratings on Bell 407, AS350 – H125, or EC120
• Longline proficiency
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PDF, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work night shifts for NVG training
• Fluency in English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

• Instructional background in both classroom and aircraft settings
