Pickleball Instructor

Responsibilities

• Teach private, semi-private, and group pickleball lessons
• Conduct clinics, camps, and instructional programs for varying skill levels
• Provide instruction on fundamentals, strategy, rules, and sportsmanship
• Demonstrate proper techniques, drills, and game strategies
• Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback
• Ensure a safe playing environment and enforce court safety standards
• Support special events, tournaments, and leagues
• Set up and break down equipment before and after lessons
• Promote participation and help retain players through exceptional customer service

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of pickleball rules, techniques, and game strategy
• Previous coaching, teaching, or instructional experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with players of all ages and abilities
• Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented
• Ability to demonstrate skills and remain active on court for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Current pickleball instructor certification (PPR, IPTPA, PCI, or equivalent)
• CPR/First Aid certification
