Picker/Packer

Responsibilities

• Pick or package printed materials using specific packing procedures
• Assemble finished products into boxes or containers for shipping
• Apply labels to packages and ensure accurate shipping information is attached
• Arrange, mark, seal, and tag items in bundles, pallets, or containers
• Count and sort product items to meet productivity and quality standards
• Load and unload materials onto pallets, racks, and shelves by hand
• Use hand trucks, electric dollies, or other devices to convey materials
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications
• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of routine packing procedures and warehouse equipment
• Ability to stock, move, and rotate items under guidance

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 or more years of experience in manufacturing or warehousing
