Picker/Packer

Responsibilities

• Perform voice-directed picking of products from bins and place correct quantities into assigned carts
• Verify product accuracy during both the picking and packing processes
• Pack customer orders neatly using appropriate boxes, envelopes, and protective materials like bubble wrap
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace by disposing of empty boxes and packaging appropriately
• Log onto voice systems and maintain daily production records as required
• Report any product selection errors or quality issues to the appropriate team member

Requirements

• Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills
• Computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners or computers
• High attention to detail to differentiate products with similar characteristics
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete continuously throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks such as bending, twisting, and reaching
• Ability to work under stress and handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in basic warehousing operations
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
