Picker/Packer

Responsibilities

• Perform voice-directed picking by navigating product aisles and selecting correct items and quantities
• Pack customer orders using appropriate boxes or envelopes to prevent damage during transit
• Verify product accuracy during both the picking and packing processes
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace by appropriately disposing of empty boxes and packaging
• Use hand tools including computers, scanners, box cutters, and tape guns
• Report any product selection errors or quality issues to the appropriate team member

Requirements

• Good reading, writing, and math skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Ability to differentiate products with similar characteristics like size, color, or vendor codes
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in basic warehousing operations
