Picker/Packer

Responsibilities

• Perform voice-directed picking of products from bins and place correct quantities into assigned carts
• Verify product accuracy during both the picking and packing processes
• Pack customer orders neatly using appropriate boxes, envelopes, and protective materials like bubble wrap
• Maintain daily production records and report any product selection or quality errors
• Utilize conveyor systems to move packed orders to appropriate shipment locations
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace by appropriately disposing of empty boxes and packaging
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

Requirements

• Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills
• Computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners or voice systems
• High attention to detail to differentiate products with similar characteristics
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete for long periods
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, twisting, and reaching

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in basic warehousing or distribution operations
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
