Picker/Packer

Responsibilities

• Use voice-directed systems to pick products from bins and place them into assigned carts
• Verify product accuracy during both the picking and packing processes
• Pack customer orders using appropriate sized boxes or envelopes to prevent damage during transit
• Securely package fragile items, such as glass or liquids, using bubble wrap and bags
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace by appropriately disposing of empty boxes and packaging
• Report any product selection errors or quality issues to the appropriate team member
• Utilize hand tools including computers, scanners, box cutters, and tape guns

Requirements

• Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills
• Computer literacy and ability to use digital warehouse systems
• High attention to detail to differentiate products with similar characteristics
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete continuously throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and carry items, with the capacity to handle up to 50 lbs infrequently
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as twisting, bending, and reaching

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in basic warehousing or distribution operations
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
