Picker/Packer

Responsibilities

• Perform voice-directed picking of products from warehouse bins and place them into assigned carts
• Verify product accuracy during both the picking and packing processes
• Pack customer orders using appropriate boxes or envelopes to prevent damage during transit
• Secure fragile items with bubble wrap and ensure liquids are properly bagged and upright
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace by disposing of empty boxes and packaging materials
• Utilize hand tools including computers, scanners, box cutters, and tape guns
• Maintain daily production records and adhere to all company quality and safety standards

Requirements

• Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills
• Computer literacy and ability to use warehouse technology
• High attention to detail to differentiate products with similar characteristics
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete surfaces continuously
• Ability to lift and carry items, with the capacity to handle up to 50 lbs infrequently
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may not be temperature controlled

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in basic warehousing operations
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
