Picker/Packer

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders from primary product locations using a voice-directed system
• Move carts through product aisles and place correct products and quantities into the cart
• Verify product accuracy during both the picking and packing processes
• Pack customer orders into appropriately sized boxes or envelopes to prevent damage during shipping
• Follow specific packing procedures for fragile items, such as using bubble wrap for glass or bagging liquids
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by disposing of empty boxes and packaging appropriately
• Report any errors in product selection or quality to the appropriate team member

Requirements

• Strong reading, writing, and math skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and differentiate between products with similar characteristics
• Ability to work under stress and handle multiple assignments
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or comparable work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in basic warehousing operations
