Picker/Packer

Responsibilities

• Perform voice-directed picking of products from bins and place correct quantities into carts
• Verify product accuracy during both the picking and packing processes
• Pack customer orders using appropriate sized boxes or envelopes to prevent damage during transit
• Secure fragile items with bubble wrap and ensure liquids are properly bagged and upright
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace by disposing of empty boxes and packaging appropriately
• Report any product selection errors or quality issues to the appropriate team member
• Utilize hand tools including computers, scanners, box cutters, and tape guns

Requirements

• Good reading, writing, and math skills
• Basic computer skills and ability to use voice-directed systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to differentiate products with similar characteristics
• Ability to follow complex instructions and work under pressure
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk on concrete continuously
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, twisting, and reaching

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in basic warehousing or distribution operations
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
