Picker/Packer

Responsibilities

• Use a voice-directed system to pick products from bins and place them into assigned carts
• Verify product accuracy during both the picking and packing processes
• Pack customer orders neatly using appropriate boxes, envelopes, and protective materials like bubble wrap
• Maintain daily production records and report any product errors or quality issues
• Dispose of empty boxes and packaging to maintain a safe and clean workspace
• Utilize hand tools including computers, scanners, box cutters, and tape guns

Requirements

• Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills
• Computer literacy and ability to use digital scanning tools
• High attention to detail to differentiate products with similar characteristics
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete continuously
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may not be temperature controlled

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in basic warehousing operations
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
