Picker/Packer

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders from primary product locations using a voice-directed system
• Box customer orders for shipping, ensuring items are packed neatly and securely to prevent damage
• Verify product accuracy by checking location labels and customer packing lists
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace by disposing of empty boxes and packaging appropriately
• Use hand tools including computers, scanners, box cutters, and tape guns
• Report any errors in product selection or quality to the appropriate team member

Requirements

• Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills
• Computer literacy and ability to use voice-directed picking systems
• High attention to detail to differentiate products with similar characteristics
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete continuously throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may not be temperature controlled

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in basic warehousing operations
