Piano Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured one-to-one piano tuition to students throughout the school day
• Manage a personal teaching timetable of up to 53 thirty-minute individual lessons per week
• Provide accompaniment, performance, and ensemble responsibilities for concerts and productions
• Handle all administrative, communication, and scheduling tasks related to the 1:1 instrumental programme
• Contribute to the school community through active engagement in extra-curricular programmes and events

Requirements

• BEd or Bachelors degree with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching piano to children aged 5-16
• Outstanding musical and piano performance skills
• UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues, students, and parents

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent qualification
