PI Historian Application Owner - Manufacturing Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and support Aveva PI Data Historian activities, ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and issue resolution
• Design and manage the technology ecosystem to align with site manufacturing data needs and technical roadmaps
• Execute a portfolio of technology and automation platform projects, including resource, risk, and financial management
• Manage technology platform activities such as system administration, troubleshooting, and vendor management
• Elicit and analyze business stakeholder needs to convert them into functional designs
• Support cross-system feasibility analysis, project scoping, and prioritization of deliverables
• Manage relationships with technology service owners, business partners, and enterprise vendors
• Perform domestic and international travel up to 25%

Requirements

• Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree + 2 years of Information Systems, Engineering, or IT experience OR Associate's degree + 6 years experience OR High school diploma + 8 years experience
• Experience with Aveva PI Data Historian
• Knowledge of Information Systems infrastructure (Storage, VMs, Network, Active Directory, etc.)
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and 21 CFR Part 11

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically within Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industries
• 2+ years of experience with Data Historian (AVEVA PI), MES (Korber), Delta V, or Rockwell Automation platforms
• Experience with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)
• Proficiency in manufacturing data integration methods such as SQL, Web Services, and data mapping
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of computer validation and change control methodology
