About the role
Responsibilities
- Own and support Aveva PI Data Historian activities, ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and issue resolution
- Design and manage the technology ecosystem to align with site manufacturing data needs and technical roadmaps
- Execute a portfolio of technology and automation platform projects, including resource, risk, and financial management
- Manage technology platform activities such as system administration, troubleshooting, and vendor management
- Elicit and analyze business stakeholder needs to convert them into functional designs
- Support cross-system feasibility analysis, project scoping, and prioritization of deliverables
- Manage relationships with technology service owners, business partners, and enterprise vendors
- Perform domestic and international travel up to 25%
Requirements
- Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree + 2 years of Information Systems, Engineering, or IT experience OR Associate's degree + 6 years experience OR High school diploma + 8 years experience
- Experience with Aveva PI Data Historian
- Knowledge of Information Systems infrastructure (Storage, VMs, Network, Active Directory, etc.)
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and 21 CFR Part 11
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically within Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industries
- 2+ years of experience with Data Historian (AVEVA PI), MES (Korber), Delta V, or Rockwell Automation platforms
- Experience with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)
- Proficiency in manufacturing data integration methods such as SQL, Web Services, and data mapping
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of computer validation and change control methodology
