About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment, treatment, and education to patients facing musculoskeletal, amputee, stroke, geriatric, and complex continuing care challenges
  • Design and adapt individualized patient treatment plans
  • Collaborate within an interdisciplinary inpatient team and participate in inter-professional rounds
  • Disseminate clinical knowledge to patients, families, and colleagues
  • Complete clinical documentation and workload statistics in a timely manner
  • Contribute to the training and oversight of students and volunteers
  • Participate in service planning, clinical evaluations, and relevant committees

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
  • Active registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Ability to pass the Functional Independent Measure (FIM) certification exam with a minimum score of 80% during the probationary period

Preferred Qualifications

  • ADP Authorizer designation
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or Complex Continuing Care (CCC) setting
