Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care including consultation, assessment, and treatment planning
• Implement and evaluate client-specific treatment programs to improve physical functioning and cardio-respiratory health
• Deliver education to clients and staff
• Provide backfill and float support across various patient care units within Toronto General and Princess Margaret Hospitals
• Maintain compliance with the Regulated Health Professions Act and professional codes of ethics

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Science (Physiotherapy) or recognized equivalent
• Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
• Minimum of one year of related experience
• Experience in an acute care hospital environment
• Experience with oxygen titration and suctioning

Preferred Qualifications

• Membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association
• Experience in critical care, surgical, oncology, nephrology, or cardiac patient assessment
