Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy support to the Same Day Emergency Care Unit within an integrated therapy model
• Work independently as an autonomous practitioner and collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team
• Offer specialist assessment and intervention for individuals with physical, cognitive, social, or perceptual deficits
• Use an evidence-based and person-centred approach to rehabilitation
• Facilitate timely discharges with a 'Home First' mindset to maintain and improve function

Requirements

• Recognised Physiotherapy degree or equivalent
• HCPC registration
• Significant experience working at Band 6 level, particularly with complex clinical cases
• Experience managing a clinical caseload independently
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in clinical assessment and intervention techniques
• Knowledge of up-to-date manual handling techniques and relevant legislation
