Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate the physiotherapy needs of elderly patients with complex health conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and evidence-based practice
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes and self-management techniques
• Supervise and mentor junior physiotherapists and support staff
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and professional standards

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist
• Relevant qualification in Physiotherapy (BSc or MSc)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in acute care and elderly rehabilitation
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrable experience in managing complex cases
