Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions, particularly in acute medical and respiratory settings
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients’ needs
• Provide physiotherapy interventions to patients in acute medical and respiratory care
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and self-management strategies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to service development initiatives

Requirements

• HCPC registration
• Right to work in the UK
• Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience working in a similar healthcare setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to continuous professional development

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in unplanned care and DTA beds
• Knowledge of current best practices in physiotherapy
• Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively
