Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement physiotherapy treatment programs for patients in the acute inpatient setting
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Provide specialist physiotherapy input for patients with complex needs, including elderly care, medicine, respiratory, and surgery
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and strategies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with hospital policies
• Participate in clinical audits, research, and service development initiatives
• Supervise and support junior physiotherapists, assistants, and students

Requirements

• HCPC registration
• Right to work in the UK
• Acute NHS experience
• Experience in inpatient elderly care, medicine, respiratory, and surgery
