Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Provide early assessment and intervention to patients in the Same Day Emergency Care Unit
• Facilitate safe discharge back to normal place of residence
• Work as part of the Frailty Therapy Team across three frailty wards
• Conduct comprehensive, generic, and holistic assessments
• Work as an autonomous practitioner and within a multidisciplinary team
• Provide specialist assessment for physical, cognitive, social, or perceptual deficits
• Implement proactive rehabilitation to maintain and improve function

Requirements

• Degree in Physiotherapy
• HCPC registration
• Proven experience in clinical physiotherapy
• Knowledge of physical, cognitive, social, and perceptual assessment techniques
• Experience in early assessment within emergency care settings
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
