Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and manage patients with acute medical conditions including respiratory, cardiovascular, and musculoskeletal issues
• Provide physiotherapy interventions to optimize mobility and prevent deconditioning
• Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide hands-on therapy including mobilization, breathing exercises, and postural support
• Assist in discharge planning and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
• Manage own caseload and prioritize patients based on clinical need
• Contribute to ward rounds and patient progress reviews

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
• HCPC registration
• Significant experience in NHS acute medical settings
• Experience managing complex medical caseloads
• Strong knowledge of respiratory, cardiovascular, and musculoskeletal conditions
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
