Physiotherapist (Post-Acute Rehabilitation)

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for patients and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Deliver physiotherapy interventions to enhance strength, balance, mobility, gait, and functional independence.
• Apply specialized rehabilitation techniques, including Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure holistic patient care.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation objectives, mobility strategies, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physiotherapy.
• Valid DOH physiotherapy license or registration.
• Certification in NDT (Neuro-Developmental Treatment) and PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in neurological, inpatient, or post-acute rehabilitation settings.
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic.
