Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments, interventions, and discharge planning for patients following an acute stroke
• Work across acute stroke wards, outlier wards, and the Emergency Department (ED)
• Work independently to deliver high-quality care
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and Speech Language Therapists within a multidisciplinary team
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary

Requirements

• Degree in Physiotherapy
• HCPC registration
• Previous experience working with stroke patients
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to continuous professional development
