Altum Health is a department within the University Health Network offering a full continuum of prevention, rehabilitation, and health care services to third party payors and individuals, including the WSIB, employers, and insurers.

Responsibilities

• Empower and support clients through recovery using hands-on knowledge in the treatment of orthopedic disorders and chronic pain
• Manage rehabilitation and return to work for injured workers
• Collaborate with clients and treatment teams to reach functional and work reintegration potential
• Perform cross-functional and cross-site duties as assigned
• Provide group education sessions and lead small group learning
• Maintain detailed insurance reporting and case management documentation

Requirements

• Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
• Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Strong judgment and prioritization skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience treating work-related injuries, MVA, or within the third-party health care system
• Experience with Private Pay, MVA, WSIB non-specialty, and EI
• Interest or experience in hand therapy
• WorkWell certification
• Experience with report writing and case management
