Altum Health is a department within the University Health Network offering a full continuum of prevention, rehabilitation, and health care services to third party payors and individuals, including the WSIB, employers, and insurers.

Responsibilities

• Empower and support clients through recovery using hands-on knowledge in the treatment of orthopedic disorders and chronic pain
• Manage rehabilitation and return to work for injured workers
• Collaborate with stakeholders including clients and treatment teams to reach functional potential
• Perform cross-functional and cross-site duties as assigned
• Provide group education sessions and lead small group learning
• Maintain detailed insurance reporting and documentation

Requirements

• Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
• Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team
• Strong judgment and prioritization skills

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience treating work-related injuries, MVA, or third-party healthcare systems
• Experience with Functional Abilities Evaluations (FAE) and Return to Work planning
• Interest or experience in hand therapy
• Experience with case management and communication with referral services
• WorkWell certification
• Experience with report writing
