Physiotherapist - ABI

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and patient education for musculoskeletal, amputee, stroke, geriatric, and complex continuing care populations.
• Design and adapt individualized patient treatment plans within an interdisciplinary inpatient team.
• Participate in inter-professional rounds, clinical evaluations, and relevant hospital committees.
• Complete comprehensive clinical documentation and workload statistics in a timely manner.
• Support the training and oversight of students and volunteers.
• Contribute to the advancement of professional practice and service planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, or an equivalent qualification.
• Active registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
• Ability to attain a minimum score of 80% on the Functional Independent Measure (FIM) certification exam during the probationary period.

Preferred Qualifications

• ADP Authorizer status.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or Complex Continuing Care (CCC) setting.
