Physicist, Mathematician or Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work in an interdisciplinary team to design and implement operational software for highly complex missile systems
• Coordinate closely with sensor technology and electronics departments
• Design new algorithms and procedures, specifically in the areas of image recognition and sensor-based image processing
• Evaluate overall systems and individual components using numerical simulations and analytical reasoning
• Investigate real-time system behavior using operational target hardware
• Present results to national and international audiences

Requirements

• Completed degree in Physics, Mathematics, or Engineering with excellent academic records
• Strong analytical thinking skills and a passion for complex technical systems
• Advanced IT skills with in-depth knowledge of a programming language, ideally C/C++
• Openness to new challenges and a willingness to contribute to a highly qualified team

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate (PhD) in a relevant scientific or engineering field
