Physician Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead the medical team during disaster deployments
• Manage personnel and coordinate with county officials and stakeholders
• Provide medical oversight and clinical governance for the project
• Establish Risk and Quality Management programs
• Develop patient care plans and issue prescriptions
• Ensure required medical reports are delivered
• Support infection control policies and procedures
• Maintain professional conduct and respect patient rights

Requirements

• Minimum five years of experience as a Physician
• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice
• Current and unrestricted medical license in the state of Florida
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Valid DEA License
• Ability to respond to a disaster within 24 hours of notice
• Experience treating special needs populations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health records
• Ability to work in austere environments and handle physical demands
