Responsibilities

• Lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities throughout Allegheny County and the surrounding Western Pennsylvania region
• Perform surgical debridement and other bedside procedures
• Apply advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Deliver collaborative care within the post-acute setting
• Maintain a weekday-only schedule with no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Clear/unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one
• Background in surgery, family medicine, or internal medicine
• No previous wound care experience required; comprehensive specialty training provided
