About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities throughout Allegheny County and the surrounding Western Pennsylvania region
- Perform surgical debridement and other bedside procedures
- Apply advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
- Deliver collaborative care within the post-acute setting
- Maintain a weekday-only schedule with no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Clear/unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- DEA license or eligibility to obtain one
- Background in surgery, family medicine, or internal medicine
- No previous wound care experience required; comprehensive specialty training provided

- Average annual earnings of $220,000 – $250,000 as an independent contractor with no earning cap
