About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain and expand the physician panel through strategic sourcing and outreach
- Negotiate physician fees, agreement terms, and contract rates within established guidelines
- Onboard new physicians by collecting necessary documentation, including CVs, W9s, and NPDB reports
- Manage existing physician records, including fee updates, profile instructions, and deactivations
- Fulfill high-priority service requests by recruiting appropriate specialists to fill network gaps
- Lead contract renegotiations for existing physicians and handle complex client requests for niche specialties
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure network alignment and compliance
Requirements
- 3–5 years of physician recruitment experience
- Experience working within a healthcare or insurance environment
- Deep knowledge of medical specialties and related terminology
- Working knowledge of federal and state healthcare compliance standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Familiarity with provider networks and healthcare operations
