Physician Recruiter

Responsibilities

• Maintain and expand the physician panel through strategic sourcing and outreach
• Negotiate physician fees, agreement terms, and contract rates within established guidelines
• Onboard new physicians by collecting necessary documentation, including CVs, W9s, and NPDB reports
• Manage existing physician records, including fee updates, profile instructions, and deactivations
• Fulfill high-priority service requests by recruiting appropriate specialists to fill network gaps
• Lead contract renegotiations for existing physicians and handle complex client requests for niche specialties
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure network alignment and compliance

Requirements

• 3–5 years of physician recruitment experience
• Experience working within a healthcare or insurance environment
• Deep knowledge of medical specialties and related terminology
• Working knowledge of federal and state healthcare compliance standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree
• Familiarity with provider networks and healthcare operations
