About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to PACE participants, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and prescription writing
- Document care in medical records and contribute to EMR enhancements
- Participate in interdisciplinary team care planning and quality improvement initiatives
- Lead and manage staff, including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and disciplinary actions
- Maintain a positive work environment and conduct regular leadership meetings
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree from a U.S. medical school
- Successful completion of residency at an accredited healthcare institution
- Postgraduate training in a primary care specialty (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics preferred)
- Current active California medical license
- Current active DEA license
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
