About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a chest clinic
- Manage day-to-day clinical care for TB patients
- Supervise physicians and complete performance evaluations
- Ensure reporting, follow-up, and treatment completion for TB cases
- Oversee directly observed therapy and case management documentation
- Review medical records and monitor high-priority patients
Requirements
- Valid New York State medical license
- Board certification or board eligibility
- Specialty experience for assignment level
- Residency training in internal medicine, family practice, pediatrics, or related specialty
- Fellowship training for infectious disease or pulmonary medicine for higher levels
