About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a chest clinic
  • Manage day-to-day clinical care for TB patients
  • Supervise physicians and complete performance evaluations
  • Ensure reporting, follow-up, and treatment completion for TB cases
  • Oversee directly observed therapy and case management documentation
  • Review medical records and monitor high-priority patients

Requirements

  • Valid New York State medical license
  • Board certification or board eligibility
  • Specialty experience for assignment level
  • Residency training in internal medicine, family practice, pediatrics, or related specialty
  • Fellowship training for infectious disease or pulmonary medicine for higher levels
