Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and efficient patient evaluations in a high-volume outpatient emergency setting
• Execute core clinical procedures including suture and staple laceration repairs
• Perform incision and drainage (I&D) of abscesses
• Conduct pelvic exams
• Interpret plain X-rays
• Work collaboratively alongside board-certified ER physicians in a team-based environment

Requirements

• 1-2 years of post-graduate experience in Emergency Room (ER) or Urgent Care settings
• Proficiency in suturing and staple laceration repairs
• Proficiency in incision and drainage procedures
• Proficiency in performing pelvic exams
• Ability to interpret plain X-rays
