Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Perform medical evaluations and formulate differential diagnoses and treatment plans for urgent and emergent care
• Manage high-level medical conditions including atrial fibrillation, sepsis, and complex pediatric/geriatric cases
• Execute medical procedures such as IV access, medication administration, splinting, suturing, phlebotomy, and EKGs
• Provide high-level concierge customer service to patients and their families
• Maintain detailed clinical charting including history of present illness and physical exams
• Coordinate care with medical partners, house calls teams, and care coordination staff
• Ensure comprehensive transfer of responsibility for pending labs or imaging at shift end

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
• Current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner state license in Florida
• Valid DEA license
• ACLS and PALS certification
• Strong clinical skills and technical proficiency in phlebotomy and IV placement
• Ability to work in a fluid, multitasking environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in emergency departments or urgent care centers
• Experience in house calls, EMS/pre-hospital, or concierge medicine
• Proficiency with Athena Health, Salesforce, Slack, and Humanity
