Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Formulate differential diagnoses and treatment plans for urgent and emergent care in patient homes
• Perform medical evaluations and use home-based imaging studies for assessment
• Execute medical procedures including IV access, splinting, suturing, phlebotomy, and EKGs
• Conduct COVID-related house calls including clinical sampling and point of care testing
• Document clinical evaluations and treatments in eClinicalWorks
• Coordinate with House Call Coordinators and interface with patients' PCPs and specialists
• Maintain properly stocked provider bags and ensure seamless hand-offs of pending labs or imaging

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
• Current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner state license in New York
• Valid DEA license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong clinical skills including phlebotomy and peripheral IV placement
• Ability to work in a fluid, multitasking environment and interface with high-end clientele

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in emergency departments or urgent care centers
• Previous experience in house calls, EMS, pre-hospital, or concierge medicine
