Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Manage a panel of families as the primary care provider to improve whole-family health through longitudinal primary and preventive care
• Provide acute, chronic, and pediatric care in home settings and via virtual care modalities
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including MDs, LCSWs, RNs, and dieticians
• Utilize electronic health records to document member interactions and track tasks
• Propose treatments, prescribe medications, and educate patients on conditions
• Order, administer, and record diagnostic tests
• Provide advocacy and navigation support for health and social care services

Requirements

• Completion of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner accredited program
• Active, unrestricted license to practice in Louisiana
• At least 2 years of experience providing clinical services to pediatric and adult patients
• Proficiency in clinical nursing skills such as venipuncture and phlebotomy
• Current CPR certification (BLS)
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

• Experience leading an interdisciplinary care team
