Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive women's health examinations including annual gynecological exams and preventive care
• Diagnose and treat common gynecological conditions and women's health issues
• Perform routine procedures including Pap smears, STI testing, and contraceptive device insertion/removal
• Manage routine prenatal and postpartum care in collaboration with CNMs
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide patient education on lifestyle and health maintenance
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including midwives, therapists, and wellness coaches

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current NCCPA certification
• Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
• Experience in women's health, family medicine, or related fields
• Experience with routine gynecological procedures and prenatal care
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish preferred)
• Experience in collaborative care models
• ACLS certification
