Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive women's health examinations including annual gynecological exams and preventive care
• Diagnose and treat common gynecological conditions and women's health issues
• Perform routine procedures such as Pap smears, STI testing, and contraceptive device management
• Manage routine prenatal and postpartum care in collaboration with CNMs
• Develop individualized, patient-centered treatment plans and provide health education
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including midwives, therapists, and wellness coaches

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current NCCPA certification
• Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in women's health or family medicine
• Experience with routine gynecological procedures and contraceptive methods
• Experience with prenatal care and women's health across the lifespan
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish preferred)
• Experience in collaborative care models
• ACLS certification
