Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)/Physiatry services as a rehab consultant
• Represent CRC in your facility through strong clinical leadership and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
• Collaborate with PCP teams to manage conditions common in SNFs such as CVA, progressive neurological conditions, and postoperative orthopedic surgeries
• Work alongside PT, OT, and SLP teams to improve patient function and quality of life
• Follow therapy patients to track progress and manage barriers to therapy including pain, spasticity, and neurogenic bowel/bladder
• Attend multidisciplinary meetings to bridge the gap between therapy and internal medicine

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner/APRN/ Physician Assistant certification
• Valid California License
• Ability to work in the U.S.
• Passion for post-acute healthcare and serving the geriatric population
• Confidence to function autonomously
